Ziyang Park
Ziyang Park was founded in 1951 and named after Ziyang Lake in the park. Although the area of Ziyang lake is small, as a time-honored Park in Wuchang, it has an extraordinary position in the eyes of many Wuchang people. According to historical records, there was a building in the center of Ziyang lake, which was the reception and leisure place of Zhang Zhidong, then governor of Huguang, with teahouses and wine pavilions. Zhang Zhidong often entertains guests here, inscribes poems and poems, and enjoys the beautiful scenery of the lake. It can be described as Zhang Zhidong's "private garden".
Logo and auxiliary graphic design
Ziyang park we chose is a park of great historical significance. This park is named after the lake in the middle of the park. The park has a good geographical location and beautiful environment. There are also many special areas with different audiences. This time, our design first needs to transform its logo. Its original logo does not have the characteristics that the park is named after Ziyang lake. Secondly, the main audiences of the park are the elderly and families with children. However, the guidance system of the park is not so comprehensive. Some elderly people can't find the place they want to go because of their eyesight or various problems. Our upgraded guidance system should be more simple and grand, It should not only be suitable for the park style, but also enable the elderly to find their location and want to go faster. In addition, the park is located between the two scenic spots, and there must be many tourists. However, due to the lack of publicity, many tourists do not know the park. We are going to make posters and publicity books to attract tourists.
My wayfinding design adheres to the simple and elegant feel of Ziyang Park, and incorporates the style of ink painting and the representative lotus flower in Ziyang Lake. It not only makes the wayfinding system clearer and easier to read, but also makes the whole style more fresh and tranquil, and it is more suitable for the most audience of Ziyang Lake: the elderly.
